“Journey to Bethlehem”provides you with one short scripture reading each day followed by a reflection question or two designed to help you see how God promised the world a Savior and then kept that promise.

Looking for a way to make Advent an extra special time this year? Why not spend just a few minutes each day following the Bible’s story of Jesus’ birth? Get it online free at our website, through a daily email, on Twitter, or even on Facebook!

The "Journey to Bethlehem" is a great way to prepare for the Savior’s birth. And it’s not hard to do. First, decide on a brief time and a quiet place for your daily “journey”. Begin each day’s time with prayer, asking God to open your mind and heart to his word that day. Then, read the passage from your Bible, ponder the reflection questions and end your time with a brief prayer of thanks for something you learned from God that day. That’s all it takes!

The daily readings are taken from both the Old and New Testaments. This year, there are 28 days in Advent so if you begin your "Journey” on Nov. 30, you’ll have a daily reading right through Christmas Day.
