Men, are you facing an emergency today? Move fast, move quick - Dial 911

Well what I meant to say was, Psalm 91:1!

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1

"He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation." Psalm 91:15-16

Men I know it is hard to face trials and even when you know that God uses adversity to help us grow. None of us desire adversity in our lives, but when it comes, and you know it will, we know God will get the glory IF… we as men grow, learn, and become stronger from it.

  • “It” may come in the form of job loss through which God moves you to a different chapter in your life; but at the same time you must lean on God to get you through it.  To His glory, prayerfully you end up gaining a better job.

  • “It” might be a sickness or injury that is life-threatening, and then God heals you.

  • “It” might be a hard, difficult experience with a family member that He allows you to experience, but He is glorified in the midst of it and He moves to grow that relationship.

So what are we as Men suppose to be doing?

Well guys, we must stay strong and dwell in the place of the Most High God and follow His Word. We must abide in the Word of God, lead our families, stand firm in our beliefs and step-out for Christ even when no one else will. We must hold fast and not move.  Men, we must be a steel wall that can not be broken down by the world.

Men, the challenge is this…we must walk so close with God that we are walking in His shadow (Psalm 91:1), that when we do fall (and, we will) we know He will be there to pick us up, dust us off. And regardless of circumstances, we keep our eyes focused on Him.
